Hey Krazzy 4 girlz!!(I know, only one of you girls is reading it. But still!!!) So I finally made an effort to move my lazy ass and start writing this blog. Only two days ago I found out that Dead Reckoning was out & available online, thanks to my super bookworm friend Aroni!! So after downloading it I updated my AR. Hee hee!! & BOO to the old version. Anyways, that night I started reading it & obviously stayed up as long as I had the energy. Today after coming back from the exam, I read again and finished it!! So, even though I know the person who’s reading this won’t agree with me, but here’s my review: the Sookie-Eric track is heading towards the end. I can feel it. All the hints were there. I should’ve known that this was going be the same cliché ending!! Comparing Trueblood love-triangle with the one in Twilight<Vomit><Puke>, Bill-Sookie are like Bella-Edward. Bill is so perfect, gentle, caring, loving, understanding-which are ALL the qualities that Sookie wants to see in her life partner. Eric’s stubborn (I find it cute), a little ruthless, control-freak & not so understanding when it comes to human emotions. Plus the new arranged marriage thing is a clear indication that this couple won’t last long. Sooner or later, Sookie’s gonna be fed up of trying to be understanding about this thing. And even though I love Eric and I’d like for him to give up all his power & position to be with Sookie, I know he’s NEVER gonna do that. And some day Sookie’s gonna want to get back to the peaceful life/relationship she had with Bill. Not to mention, she’d also want to have a family in the future. Plus she’s mortal so she can’t possibly have a future with a vampire. And let’s say that she magically stays young forever with the help of Claude & Dermot, but then she’ll become more fae/fairy. And that means she can’t be with a vampire!! Be it Bill or Eric. But if she doesn’t turn into a fae then it’s gonna be Bill in the end for sure. Bcoz he’s like Edward Maigga Cullen who would love his woman unconditionally even when she gets old and wrinkled. And that’s enough to win over Sookie’s heart. I already hate Bill to death, that ugly rapist with a stupid accent!!! So if Bill-Sookie does end up together in the end then I would rip apart all the books!!Oh wait, all of the books are digital!! Dang it! I can’t even delete them bcoz of my ‘Khun-Pasina’ rule!!!<Slapping myself for being a near-perfectionist & a rule-follower (only when it’s my own rule, no matter how crazy it is)>!! Anyways, the Bill-Sookie-Eric triangle aside, I loved the book for being Jason-free!! He’s the second character in my Trueblood Hate List, right after Bill. And also officially hated Amelia for breaking the blood bond. In that moment she instantly became a Bitch from a Witch for me. The most irritating thing about Sookie for me was the whole ‘Jannalyn doesn’t deserve Sam’ bullshit!! I mean what’s it to her if he dates a girl who doesn’t deserve him??? Focus on your OWN married life Sookie!!!!!!! Anyways, the most positive thing about the entire book was of course (Aroni!! Don’t you dare laugh!!) Dermot. I sort of find him cute & naïve. Hoo hoo!!And I find it horribly cute that he & Sookie had slept in the same bed and enjoyed it (Ignoring Claude)!!! And the way he’s always nice to her, enjoys being around her and oh how can I NOT mention the ‘Oxygen-Exchange’ between them!!! LOLZ!!! I’m keeping my fingers crossed, that’s for sure!! Sookie and Dermot ending up together would be less complicated than Eric-Sookie, and although they don’t have any extreme spark between them Dermot-Sookie would be magical, literally!! So, that was my take on ‘Dead Reckoning’. I hope I didn’t bore you too much Aroni. I’m waiting for your review.
